I just listened to BBC World Service’s Digital Planet broadcast from January 8th. The show has an interesting piece on how Silicon Valley is not feeling feeling the credit crunch that is impacting the rest of the U.S. It goes over a number of factors that set The Valley’s tech industry, and venture capital specifically, apart from the rest of the country. Definitely worth a listen. (Note: The Silicon Valley segment starts at 14:48.)
So, do you agree? Is now the right time to dust off that old business plan and hit Sandhill Road?
(Update: The BBC MP3 appears to be down, but you can still listen to the podcast in iTunes.)
